Before you share your story..
I'm Tanya. I’m 32 years old, a self-taught photographer and proud mum of two boys and a dog. I have access to a home studio and big plans to expand into it's own entity.
I specialise in capturing those first moments you want to cherish forever, from tiny newborn, to when they first learn to sit, their very first birthday & beyond. I offer all of above and family sessions from a cosy studio in Upton or on Dorset locations. I also offer sessions for pets and themed mini sessions throughout the year.
I’m quite down to earth and sarcastic. I love deep and random chats about life, wayfaring, and creating art.
I specialise in candid photography and have an eye to capture those precious memories in the making.
Here's some random things I love..
- I love trailways! One on my favourite things to do is explore a new place. The SWCP is on my to-do list.
- The beach is basically my second home.
- I’m a sucker for food, particularly pizza, pancakes and biscuits.
- I’m slightly obsessed with animals, if you want to bring your dog to your session, I definitely won’t say no.
- I love old Japanese cars !
- I listen to music at any given opportunity, from hardstyle to classical. You’d be surprised as to what I have in the background whilst editing sometimes! I love a local rave I can't lie.
- I'm an electrician by trade.
- And as you may have guessed, I love photography!

PASSION
Photography is not just a job for me. I don’t do it because I need to. I’m a photographer because I love the art of it, and I love the challenge of creating beautiful photographs. I have the privilege of creating timeless images for my clients that will be treasured for generations. I get to meet with fantastic people, and I get to express my creativity while running my own business and turning amazing clients into friends.
SKILL
As with anything in life, the only way to get really good at something is to practice! I shoot in full manual mode (not auto) and know how to handle my camera in different scenarios. I shoot with top of the line gear and am also advanced in basic post processing using high-end software. I am continuously learning/experimenting with new things because that's my mindset: To be better than I was the day before so I can offer the best experience!

I tailor each photography session to meet the needs of my clients. I love taking care of clients, plus I like to be the photographer who goes above and beyond and will give you something unexpected.
VERSATILITY
I am flexible and can adapt to any situation. Whether you want posed portraits or candid shots, I'll work with you to capture the images that will make you smile for years to come. And I am all ears for your own ideas.
I understand circumstances can change, and I'm happy to rearrange or cancel your appointments at notice.
PRICE
Because my rates are reasonable, I am confident you won’t find a better value/quality package anywhere else.
I don't con people with overpriced prints and digitals, and I am very upfront with costings. Extra digital images on top of your chosen package are only £10 each or £150 for your entire gallery, which includes print release, so you can find the best print options for you.
I also don’t believe in unwanted post-wedding sales pitches. I create all-inclusive packages so there are no surprises later. I offer packages, which include an engagement session and full online galleries.
PLANNING
I take the time to listen to my clients, their needs, desires, and concerns so that I may take photographs that my clients will cherish for generations.
From the moment of contact all the way to your gallery delivery, there is a lot of planning and preparation I put into every session. I send every client a questionnaire, which fills me in on your vision. You will receive several different emails/text messages along the way, which will help prepare you to have the best session possible, and I am always happy with inspiration spam messages. Then there's the behind the scenes tasks, which may include location scouting, prop shopping, and setting the scene. If you know any artist, then you understand our brains never shut off. We're constantly living and breathing our ideas because those creative juices are what fuels us, so as a photographer, preparation is key.
NON-JUDGMENTAL
I have no judgements on the way you choose to parent or if you forget anything for your session.
I have zero tolerance towards discrimination against anyone. All ethnicities, religions, cultures, relationship statuses, disabilities, and whatever your gender preference or sexual orientation may be will be accepted with open arms.
I have been DBS checked and I'm fully insured.
