When Should You Book Your Session?

Newborn

Newborn is best booked in your second trimester. I will make sure we have a lot of time before and after baby's due date. For sleepy newborn photos the baby will need to be around a week old, no older than 2 weeks. We will have plenty of time in our sessions for nappy and outfit changes, feeds, and comforting. After 14 days old, it is much more difficult for posed newborn photos as baby is usually much more alert and fidgety. Please dress your baby in a plain white vest between the ages of 2 - 12 weeks. 

Please Allow Three Weeks Between the Session and Expected Delivery of Photos.

Sitters

Sitter sessions are best to take place when baby is sitting! Usually around 4-9 months old. Please allow 3-4 weeks before you require the photos so there's time to postpone if the session doesn't go to plan due to illness or grumpy babies. This will also allow time to get the pictures to you for when you need them. 

Cake Smash

Cake smashes can be done for any age and even for pets! I recommend having the session booked in around a month before the big day. This allows for rescheduling if needed and for the pictures to be ready for birthday..

Pets

If your pet is not very well trained or quite nervous in new situations, I'd advise popping in to the studio a couple of times before hand so they get used to the environment.
