So long as they can sit up by themselves, your baby can celebrate their first birthday by flinging cake around and covering themselves in icing. Well, that definitely sounds like a great party to us!

Just bring your little one to the studio for your booked session time, and we’ll capture the whole thing with a professional cake smash photoshoot. You’ll get adorable, hilarious photos to share with your friends and family, and won’t have to worry about cleaning up afterwards! - Even better if you've opted for tub time afterwards.


What is a Cake Smash Photoshoot?


Babies. Cake. Smash. It’s exactly what it says on the baking tin. A smash cake photoshoot captures snaps of your baby with their first birthday cake, which they’re free to smash, dig and play with however they like. This results in super-cute, funny and messy photos which capture your baby’s happy face (they’ll probably look a bit mischievous, too!). All the best moments will be caught on camera, so parents can just sit back, relax and join in with all the giggling!

Sessions begin with a few clean, natural portraits of your little one before the cake is introduced. The whole family can join in for these too!

What do I Need For A Cake Smash Photoshoot?


You just need to bring yourself, and your baby. The cake is going to be destroyed, so we recommend you don’t bring anything too expensive if you opt to bring your own, but anything with loads of white frosting is sure to look great on camera! I supply the cake unless you tell me otherwise. Once you book your session, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. This will give me an idea of what theme to go for and which outfits to prepare for your little one. I like to be creative so I'm open to all themes.

Smash & Splash

There are two cake smash options available for little ones. You can choose a simple cake smash session, or opt for a cake smash and splash, which includes a splash bath in my mini bathtub after the cake fun has finished. That's more fun and less work for you!

I thought why can't adults do a cake smash? Why couldn’t adults have just as much fun? So we came up with our Adult Cake Smash package. This way adults get to smash a cake up, have fun and the best bit… they don’t have to tidy up the mess afterwards. Having worked on a number of adult cake smash photoshoots, We can confidently say everyone who has taken part has had a crazy amount of fun and absolutely loved the photos they get after the photoshoot.
